Cancellation Policy

To ensure we can accommodate all clients and operate efficiently, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment will not incur any fees.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment time will be subject to a cancellation fee of $200

We understand that emergencies happen. Exceptions may be made at our discretion in cases of illness or unforeseen circumstances.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.

Licensing

Bess McKinney Photograph owns the licensing to the photos. There is an additional charge if you would like to acquire the licensing rights to one, a few, or all the photos.

I typically charge 50% of the original shoot fee to transfer full rights for use on all platforms. For a few images, we can discuss a smaller fee based on the number needed.

If you hire me to photograph the property and the contractor and/or architect would like the photos then they can pay you (or split it with you - however you would like to do that.) for the photos. Once you are paid, I will then send them a separate file for their use or you can share the file with them. 

If any other company outside of the split the payment - Example the tile company or flooring company would like to use the photos then they need to reach out to me for payment of use. 

I like to offer splitting payment with the two other main companies on the project as a thank you for hiring Bess McKinney Photography.
